Produces pure white flowers in late spring. The lush, green foliage turns to shades of red and purple in autumn. Prefers full sun where soil is reasonably fertile, moist but free-draining. Ideal plant for mixed borders or rock gardens.

This hosta is quite unusual in its form. Leaves are a clear lime to mid green and a lovely contrast to the stems. Very compact with striking dark purple to black stems and slight veining, are topped by most unusual clear violet flower clusters held on upright flower spikes. This hosta will form dense clumps once established.
